Time to get this finished. Chapter 1-3 is coming along slowly and defies my efforts to finish it. Oddly, however, 1-4 is all but done. I'm not sure how that happened. Hell, I could probably get a good start on Chapter 2, but 1-3? Continues to frustrate me. I can't rewrite the prior chapters because they progressed quite naturally. 1-4 could be rewritten depending on how 1-3 ends up going , but somehow a mental block has been set up.

I'm still going to try and have this finished before Halloween. In theory, it's so little work it almost makes me want to cry.

Above and beyond that, life has still dealt me some lousy cards. No matter. I no longer feel inclined to leave my depressed emote up. Back to the old form.
